The Brief
LTi Metaltech are a high-quality precision engineering and fabrication company whose products are used in numerous industries including the NHS, renewable energy projects and the rail industry.
Their reception space is compact and had no story or branding as to what the business was all about. So, they were looking for a brighter, inviting space with branding.

The Solution
Due to the location to the stairwell and front door and with security, fire and IT hubs adjoining the area there was no opportunity to expand the space, so we had to pack a lot into a small area.
We made changes to the ceiling grid and the tiles and introduced LED lighting; this instantly lifted the mood. The large unsightly radiator went and the security and fire panels were located behind a wall which also house a plasma screen.
A glass partition was added which was frosted and branded with the company logo, the glass did not cover the entire length, making the space private yet accessible without opening doors. The partition also protected the space from the front doors when opened.
The entire area has floor tiles, which are practical, however, to make the reception space feel different carpet tiles were laid, this also assisted with the acoustics.
The wooden service doors were painted white, modernising the look, and reflecting the enhanced light. A bespoke wallpaper was hung on the long back wall, depicting an action shot of a welder.
Finally, the furniture was modern, simple, and compact, with a narrow sofa allowing for more circulation space.

The Outcome
The space has proved popular not only as a meet and greet space for clients but also as a space where staff can sit down and have a quick one to one or take a call.
With the back paper and branding you now know you have arrived at LTi Metaltech and what the business is all about.
