The Brief

Oranka Juice Solutions wanted to transform an under-utilised space into a client-facing meeting room that could hold its own.

The vision was clear: a large plasma screen for seamless virtual meetings, and an aesthetic rooted in the raw, industrial warmth of a New York loft.

Working within a defined budget, every decision had to earn its place.

The Solution

The design process began with rigorous research, exploring materials, finishes and how each element would perform both visually and practically within the space. Acoustics were an early consideration; a room with hard surfaces and client-facing intent demands more than good looks.

The existing ceiling tiles were retained and paired with a sculptural acoustic slatted wall from WV Hub, positioned behind the plasma screen to absorb sound without compromising the aesthetic.
Opposite, a brick-effect wallpaper grounded the room in texture and warmth, complemented by pendant lighting that softened the industrial edge.
The remaining walls were finished in a considered off-white, warm enough to avoid the coldness of a stark white, clean enough to let the other elements breathe.

Flooring was a deliberate choice. A wood plank finish risked competing with the furniture, so a concrete-effect floor was selected instead; understated, modern and the perfect compliment to the room's centrepiece: a bespoke table constructed from scaffold planks and piping.

The timber was hand-stained to a finish that tied the palette together.
3D visualisations were produced early in the process to test finishes and room configuration before a single thing was installed.

The Outcome

Not every project runs without challenge, and this one was no exception.

A lighter-than-expected colour finish on the walls required a third coat to achieve the depth and consistency the space deserved. The table staining also needed revisiting once in situ. Both issues were met head-on - transparent communication with the Oranka team and swift resolution meant trust was never compromised.

The finished room speaks for itself. It's a space clients want to be in; tactile, considered and unmistakably on-brand.
A high bench along one wall doubles as a product display, meaning that even on a Teams call, what Oranka does
and what they make, is always in view.
