Workspace Analysis
The start of any project is to assess where you are and where you need to get to, it might sound obvious, but it is quite often overlooked. This will include analysing different teams and how they connect. Once this data has been collated, we can move on with the different stages needed to complete the project.
Space Planning
Is key to underpinning a project, it allows us to explore the space, input all the data collected in the Workspace Analysis. We can then maximise the existing space and going forwards future proof the building.
Design
Design falls into two categories, it starts with building on the workspace analysis & space planning with some initial Concept Ideas which gives a feel and look for the space. These Concepts are worked up to the Design Detail where specific products are specified, and finishes are applied bringing the package together.
Works
Once we have reached a frozen plan, we can proceed with any works that need to be carried out to meet the design. This can range from something as simple as laying a new carpet or adding additional power to striping a building back to its basics to execute a complete design.
Procurement of Furniture
It is key to identify the correct furniture to be procured. Style, design, budget, lead time, finish and quality are factors that need to be explored. Reception, Breakout Areas and Meeting Spaces play a key role in many of our designs.
Acoustics
This is an area that is easily overlooked or undervalued. However, it is imperative that your team members can communicate with each other their clients and suppliers. There is a wide range of product available and within the design stage we identify which of those products are required.
Plants
The introduction of plants added another dimension to the office. Biophilic design creates a calming space and positive atmosphere. Bringing those designs into the office space where they can be adding colour and shape is another area we look at during the design stage of the process.
Re-Location
Not the most exciting of topics and unfortunately the one often overlooked by clients. Bringing together a programme that includes moving of existing furniture, be it within a building or to a new site is critical to facilitate the works programme.
